Totem elements
This beaded embroidered Lady Dior handbag is from the 2018 Fall/Winter collection. Creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri was inspired by the 1968 Paris student movement and incorporated collage poster-style totem elements into the design, which is youthful and full of tension.

This series of totems has 4 different patterns, corresponding to the 4 natural elements of wind, fire, water and earth . It is the designer's tribute to nature.
Lady Dior interprets the "wind" element totem, with delicate wool weaving a blue sky. Earth-tone and orange beaded embroidery extends outward from the handle to form sunlight, with clouds and planets floating in between.
Beads of various colors are strung together to form silhouettes of running and jumping young people, dancers in gorgeous skirts, birds flying in the wind, girls with halos on their heads, and other images, embellished with patterns of shooting stars, flowers, snakes, branches and leaves.
The beads overflow from the pattern to form tassels, giving the picture a flowing three-dimensional feel , echoing the theme of "wind".

The bag adopts a semi-circular double handle design, which is shaped by a mold, and then the bright leather is pasted on the cork, and then it is hit with a round hammer to make it fit, and finally fixed with stitching and metal round buckles, ensuring its stiff appearance and comfortable feel. The new series uses old brass metal accessories, and the DIOR letter ornaments have changed from soft fonts to more angular squares , which are more modern and neutral than the classic ones. The handles and the bag body are connected by 4 large rings, which are handsome and neat, and the CD logo is engraved on the round buckle of the bag body.
Thoughtful design
This handbag comes with a detachable long shoulder strap , which can be used as a crossbody bag, suitable for shopping or commuting. You can also match different styles of shoulder straps, or customize personalized badges on the shoulder straps.
The flap design of the bag is also very thoughtful, ensuring privacy and practicality.
