Design inspiration
The BVLGARI Serpenti series of handbags was launched in 2012. Inspired by the brand's most classic and representative snake-shaped watches and jewelry , it uses a colorful enamel snake head as the bag buckle and is paired with a hexagonal snake scale pattern thin chain shoulder strap , incorporating the mystery and agility of the snake into the bag design.

The word Serpenti means "snake" in Italian. The ancient Egyptians regarded snakes as a symbol of power and immortality, believing that they possessed the power of constant transformation and rebirth, and could bring healing and immortality.
