Design inspiration
This handbag is themed "Made in Eden" and is still based on the brand's iconic "snake" element. The snake-shaped handle design of the bag is inspired by the antique collection necklace of the Serpenti series in the 1960s . It continues the exquisite jewelry craftsmanship and incorporates the mysterious and agile temperament of the snake into the bag design.
The word Serpenti means "snake" in Italian. The ancient Egyptians regarded snakes as a symbol of power and immortality, believing that they possessed the power of constant transformation and rebirth, and could bring healing and immortality.

In ancient Egyptian mythology, a serpent was coiled around the scepter of Aesculapius, the god of medicine and healing . Serpent elements made of gems or gold can also be found on the crowns of Egyptian pharaohs and headdresses of queens.

The two snake-shaped handles are made of gold-plated brass , embellished with engraved scales and red enamel eyes . The golden snake body is bent into a "U" shape , with the head and tail connected to the bag body respectively, as agile and enchanting as a swimming snake.
