FENDI's 2024 Spring/Summer menswear collection is themed "Artisan" , drawing inspiration from the FENDI Factory leather workshop outside Florence and the scenery of Tuscany, incorporating design elements such as aprons and work belts into menswear, showcasing a combination of Italian elegance and practical workwear style.

The FENDI Factory leather goods workshop located in the Tuscan countryside was completed and opened in October 2022. The workshop covers an area of 8 hectares and adopts earth-tone concrete exterior walls that echo the surrounding environment. Surrounded by newly planted olive trees and local vegetation, it blends in with the mountain vegetation. This season's men's show uses the workshop atrium as the T stage, and models shuttle between the craftsmen's workbenches, presenting the eternal fusion of mechanical products and handicrafts.

This bag uses the classic Peekaboo handbag as its canvas. The precise and regular pattern printing meets the aesthetic style that men pursue for rigor and rationality. The "unfinished" state like a draft adds a touch of humor to the bag, which has the unique romantic qualities of science and engineering men.

Peekaboo is one of FENDI's most classic and versatile handbags. It was designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi , the third-generation heir of the brand. It debuted in the 2009 Spring/Summer women's collection and launched a men's version for the first time at the 2014 Fall/Winter men's show .

The bag's arched handles and trapezoidal outline continue the classical aesthetic essence of mid-20th century frame handbags. Compared with the classic Peekaboo handbag, the men's version simplifies the anti-symmetrical double lock structure into a single-side lock design , and the overall style is more refined and restrained. The new mini size provides men with the option of traveling light, and the neat configuration is compatible with both casual and formal scenes.

The bag is made of camellia white Cuoio Romano natural grain calfskin with a beige printed pattern. The color scheme is inspired by the mineral tones of Tuscany, Italy, and is embellished with the brand's classic Selleria stitching technique on the edges of the hemp rope stitching , which cleverly echoes the alternating virtual and real plate-making line prints, injecting ingenious details into the bag.
"Selleria" means "saddle" in Italian . The history of this craft can be traced back to 1925, when brand founder Adele Casagrande and her husband Edoardo Fendi opened the first FENDI boutique in Rome. The saddle master personally taught the sewing skills, and the first Selleria bag series was born here. To this day, FENDI's craftsmen still insist on hand-making every Selleria stitch, from leather material selection to needle threading, inheriting the tradition.

FENDI 2024 Spring/Summer specially presents the Selleria 1925 series of handbags. Each handbag is engraved with a unique serial number and a sterling silver plaque "1925" representing the year Selleria was born .

The bag is equipped with a detachable and adjustable shoulder strap, which can be carried by hand or across the shoulder, making the overall style more casual and relaxed. The shoulder strap is made of the same grained cowhide as the bag, and is exquisitely embellished with plate-making prints and Selleria stitching.

The size of the Peekaboo ISeeU mini handbag is 26×25×10.5cm , which is a relatively compact and portable size for men. The bag has two compartments inside, which are opened and closed by a rectangular twist lock on the front and a zipper on the back, ensuring privacy and security. There is a detachable inner pocket on the middle partition , which can be flipped to switch between the same color leather or FF canvas.
The internal space is enough to meet daily travel needs, and can fit items as large as an iPad mini. We put notebooks, pens, coin purses, mirrorless cameras, iPhones, keys, lipsticks, headphones, perfumes, tissues and other items in the bag. The regular accordion structure allows the bag to remain upright, and the metal feet at the bottom provide protection.
