Design inspiration
Valextra is an Italian leather goods brand founded in 1937. It excels in low-key and restrained design style, insists on handmade leather goods, and has no obvious logo elements on its handbags.

The Iside series is Valextra's most popular bag. It is inspired by the pyramids and named after Isis, the patron saint of nature and magic in ancient Egyptian mythology .

Like the different facades of a pyramid, the Iside bag is composed of multiple trapezoids with soft lines and full curves, like a "miniature building".
· Color matching elements ·
This color-blocked Iside handbag is from the 2018 Fall/Winter "Enchanted Forest" series. It draws on the natural color changes from dawn to sunset, giving it a cool and high-end feel. Made from semi-matte Parigi calfskin , it retains the natural texture of the leather, feels delicate and soft, and has just the right natural sheen, giving the bag a soft tone like oil paint.
The use of color matching is also very clever. The main body of the bag is low-saturation smoky gray, and a small triangle of haze blue is spliced on the front corner, like the blue sky revealed after the fog has dispersed, making the overall atmosphere brighter. Valextra's iconic Costa ink piping is made by craftsmen who hand-polish the leather edges with sandpaper and then apply 3 layers of Costa black paint. It not only protects the bag, but also makes the outline of the bag more three-dimensional.
Metal details
The bag's metal parts also continue the minimalist style, with a simple and neat rectangular rotating lock without any extra embellishments, and the Valextra brand logo is low-key engraved on the side.
After rotating 90 degrees, a square hidden buttonhole is revealed, and the inside is carefully inlaid with leather of the same color as the handbag. It should be noted that it is best to push the lock gently to avoid scratching the leather surface.
With a detachable and adjustable shoulder strap , the buckle design is also very clever - gently push down the buckle to put the shoulder strap buckle into the groove, then push up to secure it, and the shoulder strap installation process is completed.
There are 4 square metal spikes on the bottom to stabilize the bag and prevent the bottom from being worn.

Each Valextra bag has a unique gold-stamped code printed inside , which not only marks the year of completion, but also can be traced back to the craftsman who made the bag through the code . Afterwards, the maintenance and repair of the bag will be given priority to the craftsman who created it, giving the bag owner a sense of exclusivity.
What can this bag hold?
Although Iside is made entirely of leather inside and out, it is very light and has a spacious interior, making it an ideal commuter bag for professional women.
We put an iPhone X, a card holder, a pencil case, a notebook, powder, perfume and other items in the bag, and there was still half of the space available.
