Design inspiration
The Coach Parker handbag was first launched in the 2018 spring and summer series and was designed by the current creative director Stuart Vevers . It was inspired by the brand's birthplace, New York . It adopts a neat and tidy flap structure, paired with the iconic Turnlock and chain shoulder strap, and incorporates street-style details into the elegant silhouette, just like the contrast between New York's Uptown and Downtown.

· Signature C printed canvas ·

The bag has a straight trapezoidal outline , with a curved flap and arched handles, and neat lines. From the side, you can see that the front of the bag is a small accordion pleat structure , the outer layer is Signature C printed canvas, the inner layer is spliced with white calfskin, and the edges are naturally spread out, which not only enriches the layering of the bag, but also makes the overall shape more rigid and less likely to deform.

· Rivet details ·
Polished rivets contrast with the vintage Signature print, adding playful details to the slightly boring bag shape. Silver and black round nails are neatly inlaid on the edge of the leather, making the bag more three-dimensional, and contrasting with the halo effect of the brushed calfskin flap.

Tea Rose Twistlock

The Tea Rose Turnlock is the most eye-catching and unique detail on this bag. The Turnlock and the Tea Rose are both Coach's most representative elements. The Turnlock comes from the brand's first designer Bonnie Cashin and has a history of more than 50 years and has been used to this day.

The inspiration of the tea rose comes from the floral satin fabric popular in the United States in the 1960s. From the original flat print, three-dimensional leather accessories and metal decorations are derived. The three-dimensional tea rose shape is composed of old copper and gun black metal layers, and the scattered petal texture is carefully engraved. The Turnlock lock that controls the opening and closing is embedded in the pistil, and the cover can be opened by turning from vertical to horizontal.

The Coach logo is engraved on the lock cylinder, highlighting the exquisite details.

· Leather hangtag ·

The tag is an essential element on every Coach bag and is one of the brand's original anti-counterfeiting designs. To this day, the details of the Coach Tag have become more and more refined.

This Parker handbag uses a leather tag in the same color as the flap, which is hung on the back of the bag via a gunmetal metal ring and bead chain.

The tag is engraved with the exclusive logo of the COACH New York series. If it is a bag from the Coach 1941 series, the tag will also be printed with the Coach exclusive carriage logo.

· Removable shoulder strap·

The top handle of the bag is a new design of Coach in the spring and summer of 2019. It adds the attribute of hand-carrying on the basis of shoulder carrying, and the overall shape is more elegant and refined. The connecting ring for fixing the shoulder strap is hidden on the back, which does not affect the shape of the front. The chain is fixed to the ring buckle by a telescopic buckle, which can be operated with one hand.

The brand's iconic elements are everywhere and hidden in every detail.

The shoulder strap is designed with chain and leather connection . The gun black metal chain echoes the turn lock and rivet details. The leather shoulder strap increases the comfort when carrying on the shoulder, and the length can be adjusted through the buttonholes . It can be carried on the shoulder or crossbody.

What can this bag hold?

Lined in burgundy fabric , it features accordion pleats at the front that conceal a flat compartment just thick enough for a phone.

The large compartment has an inner pocket at the front and back, a zippered pocket on the back, and a flat inner pocket at the front for storing important items such as credit cards.

We put a notebook, a pen, an iPhone X, a short wallet, a pack of tissues, a bottle of perfume, a lip gloss and a pair of Airpods in it, and also put the shoulder strap that we removed. The bag is light and it won't feel too heavy even when it's fully loaded. Compared with carrying it on the shoulder or crossbody, it's better to carry it in your hand.
