The Victoire handbag made its debut in the CELINE TOMBOY 2024 summer women's wear collection. It features a refined square silhouette that highlights the iconic Triomphe logo , and a metal sliding chain shoulder strap that allows it to be carried by hand, on the shoulder, or across the body, creating a French retro style that combines both strength and softness.

Design inspiration

The CELINE 2024 summer women's wear series is themed "TOMBOY" . Creative director Hedi Slimane mixes and matches neutral-cut formal suits, leather jackets with slim dresses, fur coats and other items to create the image of a sexy cool girl with both elegance and street style .

The new Victoire handbag fits the style setting of "sexy cool girl" - the simple and practical flap bag shape presents casual street attributes, the smart metal chain strap injects exquisite and elegant style into the bag, and the iconic Triomphe triumphal logo is the finishing touch and is also the most recognizable brand symbol.

· T-shaped structure & Triomphe logo ·

The T-shaped cover structure is inherited from the CELINE 16 handbag, the first bag designed by Hedi after taking over CELINE. The vertical leather trim cleverly sets off the golden Triomphe logo. The neat, symmetrical and criss-crossing lines create a layered look and feel, focusing the visual focus on the metal buckle.

As the newest member of the CELINE Triomphe family, the Victoire handbag still uses the Triomphe logo as its iconic design. The polished and shiny metal buckle is like an exquisite relief decoration, which contains many details that make people gaze and reminisce.

Triomphe means "triumphal" in French, and it comes from the Arc de Triomphe in Paris . From the name to the design details, it is a revisit to the brand's history.

In 1972, the founder, Ms. Céline Vipiana, drove to the Arc de Triomphe when her car suddenly broke down. While waiting for rescue, she noticed the chain details around the square, and suddenly she was inspired to conceive the Chain Blason logo with two symmetrical C letters connected - which is also the prototype of the Triomphe logo.

The lock closure adopts a hidden snap design. You can open the bag cover by simply lifting the leather trim, which can be done with one hand.

· Printed canvas & sheepskin leather lining·

The outside of the bag uses the brand's most representative Triomphe logo printed canvas , with a triumphal pattern created by gradually changing shades of dark and light brown. It is not only highly recognizable, but also lightweight, waterproof, and scratch-resistant.

The lining is made of tan sheepskin leather , which has a soft and delicate touch and protects the items inside the bag from scratches. The inner seam process makes the side of the bag an inverted T-shaped structure, weakening the sharpness of the edge of the bag, and the smooth lines are more friendly.

· Sliding chain shoulder strap

The metal sliding chain shoulder strap is another design highlight of the Victoire handbag. The flexible chain strap injects a casual and free temperament into the bag.

The curb chain is made of polished brass and runs through the round hole on the top of the bag. It can be switched between single and double chains. The single chain is suitable for crossbody, and the double chain can be carried on one shoulder or by hand.

What can this bag hold?

The bag has ample storage space with 2 main compartments, a central zipper pocket and a back flat pocket.

We put mobile phones, notebooks, coin purses, tissues, headphones, keys, lipsticks, perfumes and other items in the bag. The thicker bi-fold wallet and air cushion powder can also be easily stored, which is completely sufficient for daily travel or commuting.
