The bag's name, VSLING , is a combination of the letter V and "Sling", representing the two most iconic elements of the bag - the VLOGO buckle and the Sling brass chain . VLOGO was born in the early days of the Valentino brand in the 1960s . It uses a serif font V with a classic temperament . The left slash is slightly thicker than the right, and the top serif extends to form an elliptical outline. This logo is reflected in the brand's fashion and accessories design from the 1960s to the 1970s.

In the 2019 spring and summer season , VLOGO returns with a new look. Creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli redesigned the original serif font, transforming the slender ellipse outline into a thick rounded rectangle , and using it in a big way. Last season's VRING and VLOCK series handbags both used it as a signature decoration.
When it comes to VSLING handbags, the VLOGO is no longer presented directly in brass material, but is covered on the front with calfskin of the same color as the bag body , creating a minimalist style with a solid color appearance. The back retains the vintage brass tone, creating a contrasting effect between opening and closing.
The lock is a hidden magnetic buckle design. Turn the VLOGO down 90° to be perpendicular to the bag body, and then open the buckle between the flap and the base. The base is delicately engraved with the logo.

The Sling chain on one side of the shoulder strap is the soul element of this bag. It can be used as a pendant when hanging naturally , or it can be connected to the shoulder strap as an extension chain to increase the shoulder strap height from 39cm to 55cm .
One end of the leather shoulder strap is connected to the chain with a buckle, and there is a metal hook on the top , which is fixed with a pyramid-shaped rivet , and the metal plate on the back is reinforced for balance.
When the hook is fixed to the square buckle on the top of the bag, the Sling chain is used as a pendant to decorate the side of the bag, adding inspirational details to the bag. At this time, the length of the shoulder strap is more suitable for a single shoulder bag . The height of 39cm is almost between the waistline and the hips, which is also very friendly to petite girls.
Or you can use the hanging chain as an extension chain , fix the bottom ring slider to the top square buckle, and extend the shoulder strap to leather + chain. At this time, the shoulder strap length is more suitable for a crossbody bag .
The size of the bag is 18cmx16cmx8.5cm , which is about the size of an A5 notebook. The shoulder strap can be directly put into the bag and used as a handbag.

The bag is made of smooth and delicate calfskin , and the edges are outlined with black oil edges , which makes the nearly cubic Box bag shape more three-dimensional. The rounded lines make the bag look a bit playful, and it is even more girly in the macaron pink interpretation.
