FENDI 's 2024 Fall/Winter collection brings the new Peekaboo Soft handbag , which uses gray grained Roman calfskin to reshape the iconic trapezoidal outline. The perfectly symmetrical Roman sculpture print and the architectural bag silhouette complement each other, injecting a classical artistic atmosphere into the bag.

The Peekaboo Soft handbag is a new bag style launched by FENDI's 2024 autumn and winter series. The biggest highlight is the addition of padded cushioning material in the accordion pleats , making the originally minimalist and neat bag shape softer.

The bag continues the classic trapezoidal outline, and the side accordion structure has been updated from the original "outer seam oil edge" process to "inner seam piping" , neutralizing the sharpness brought by the neat lines. The original fixed arched handle has also been upgraded to an adjustable length design, and the "softened" bag shape presents a more relaxed and friendly appearance.

· Roman sculpture print ·

The marble sculptures in the Borghese Art Museum in Rome became the inspiration for the bag's printing. The designer cleverly integrated the sculpture printing into the symmetrical bag structure through mirror flipping . The natural grain texture of the gray Cuoio Romano calfskin makes the light and dark three-dimensional texture of the sculpture more prominent. The fine screen printing process restores the facial contours, facial features, hair and even the surface defects of the marble statue one by one, just like a sketch printed on leather.

The sculpture prints full of classical artistic charm not only inject a romantic atmosphere into the bag, but also look back to FENDI's Roman origins, and also echo the sculpture decorations of the brand's headquarters, the "Italian Cultural Palace".

In addition to the softened body structure, the Peekaboo Soft handbag still retains the iconic design elements of the Peekaboo series - the architectural trapezoidal outline continues the classical aesthetic essence of the frame handbags in the mid-20th century, the pleated pocket structure and the drooping keyhole hardware present the iconic "smile" arc, and the interesting name comes from the children's game "Peek-a-boo" , which vividly interprets the handbag's ability to open and close freely.

The front and back sides adopt a symmetrical lock design, and the simple rectangular twist lock is fixed on the central metal bar and opened and closed by rotation. Both sides can be flipped for use, and the back is a low-key pure gray design, which can be used as a classic style in the bag cabinet.

The hardware is made of silver metal, including the top twist lock, the two side snaps, the four bottom nails and other details. The polishing creates a shining and flowing light and shadow, and the "FENDI" logo is finely engraved. The cold silver tone matches the gray body of the bag. The side accordion pleat structure makes the bag look three-dimensional and stylish, like the spread of book pages, or like the hem of a pleated skirt, romantic and elegant. The top buckle can adjust the width of the bag mouth appropriately, and when it is naturally spread out, it creates a lazy atmosphere after work.

The bag has a front and back double compartment design, the lining is gray suede, and there is a flat inner pocket on the middle compartment.
