Paula's Ibiza
This is the fourth consecutive year that LOEWE has collaborated with Paula's Ibiza to launch a limited summer collection. Island vacation elements and gorgeous prints are still the protagonists of this season, inspired by the deep memories of creative director Jonathan Anderson's childhood visit to Ibiza.

LOEWE Paula's Ibiza 2020 Summer Limited Edition Print
The beginning of Paula's boutique also began with an "escape and accident". In 1972 , German architect Armin Heinemann, who had just divorced his wife , came to Ibiza with his two children and rented a simple shop without water and electricity. He originally wanted to use it as his own architectural studio, but unexpectedly received a batch of clothing orders.

Armin therefore took advantage of the opportunity and started selling clothes in the store. He named the store after his child Paula. He also recruited an American young man named Stuart from the street as a clerk, and the two have been working together ever since.

In order to avoid being the same as others, Armin began to design prints and develop clothing fabrics by himself. The colorful and imaginative totems gradually became the iconic elements of Paula's, attracting a large number of young people who pursued ideals, music and art, as well as Jonathan Anderson, a boy from Northern Ireland who was fascinated by the colorful world.

This mermaid print also comes from Paula's kaleidoscopic archive. It features a fairy-tale mermaid as the protagonist, and is embellished with marine elements such as coral reefs, seaweed, and starfish to create a beautiful and romantic mood.
The graceful mermaids either sit on the seaweed or dance among the corals, with long light golden hair flowing like wheat ears and a charming fish tail covered with golden scales, swimming in the deep and mysterious sea.
