Design inspiration
The triangular closure is the most recognizable design element of the Barcelona handbag. It is inspired by the LOEWE antique bags from the 1980s . The original fan-shaped buckle has evolved into a neat inverted triangle structure, and a silver metal sheet has been added to the top , making the overall style more modern.

The lock opening and closing design is also very delicate. The center of the bag cover is an inverted trapezoidal hollow, the buckle passes through the center, and then is fixed with an inverted triangle buckle. The process of opening the bag is more like opening a retro suitcase, with a bit of ritual sense.
The closure is hung on the metal ring on the side of the bag top through a belt, so there is no need to worry about it falling off or losing.
The craftsmanship of the bags is very sophisticated. Each handbag uses at least 90 leather pieces and 7 metal parts . Craftsmen manually cut, sew and assemble them according to paper patterns, and the production time is nearly 8 hours.

Woven leather weaving
Leather weaving is also one of the most commonly used craftsmanship techniques of LOEWE leather goods. It not only makes the bag more textured, but also inherits and innovates the traditional Spanish weaving craftsmanship.
LOEWE Leather Braiding
The flap of this Barcelona handbag is made of colorful calfskin strips in white, beige, pink, sky blue, blue-purple and other colors mixed with cotton thread . The tones are rich, natural and harmonious, and the color combination is very fresh.
The edge of the bag cover is decorated with sky blue crochet lace , which can fully reflect the craftsmanship, and the woven elements also give people a leisurely holiday atmosphere.
Interchangeable shoulder straps
The bag comes with two interchangeable leather shoulder straps , allowing it to be carried in a variety of ways: on one shoulder, crossbody or by hand.
The wide shoulder straps are made of blue calfskin that matches the buckle and are fixed to the top ring of the bag with a metal buckle. The thick design makes it more comfortable to carry and more eye-catching when paired with the shape. One side of the shoulder strap is spliced with a black leather piece, which is engraved with the brand's iconic Anagram pattern . The logo was designed by Spanish artist Vicente Vela in 1970 and consists of four mirrored L letters in cursive, symbolizing the brand's long history.
The thin shoulder straps are made of beige calfskin, the same color as the bag body. They are designed similar to belts and sliding chain shoulder straps. The length can be adjusted through the buttonholes (116-135.5cm), and can also be folded into a double layer as a handbag.
What can this bag hold?
The square and neat shape of the bag optimizes storage. The bag body is made of beige calfskin. The double-stitched frame structure makes the bag body more upright. There is a flat clip pocket on the back, where you can put small items such as mobile phones.
Lined with soft nappa leather , the double compartment features a central clip pocket that's more spacious and convenient for storage than the usual inner pockets on the back or front.
We put an iPhone X, glasses bag, coin and card holder, notebook, pen, lipstick and Airpods in the bag. It can easily store the items we usually carry with us when going out. It is a more daily handbag.
