The Peekaboo handbag is one of Fendi's most popular bags. It debuted on the 2009 Spring/Summer catwalk and was designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi, the third-generation heir to the brand .

The bag is named after the French word "Peek-a-boo" , which is a game played by adults who cover their faces with their hands to amuse children. The name comes from the bag's iconic opening design . When the lock is opened, one side of the bag naturally hangs down to reveal the inside, similar to the game of hide-and-seek. This naming also continues the relaxed tone of "Fun Fur" created for the brand by the late creative director Karl Lagerfeld. The Peekaboo has an elegant and capable appearance, with an arched handle and a trapezoidal bag body . The front and back sides use a symmetrical lock design, and the simple rectangular twist lock is fixed to the central metal bar and opened and closed by rotation . There are also buckles on both sides of the bag body, which can adjust the width of the bag opening appropriately, and when it is naturally spread out, it creates a lazy atmosphere after work.
The single handle design makes the bag free from restrictions at the front and back. It can be buckled up to be a tight briefcase, or the front can be opened to let it droop naturally to reveal the lining, making it look less serious.
Mr. Doodle
The biggest highlight of this Qixi limited edition Peekaboo is the print design. These quirky marker doodles are all from Mr. Doodle. Students who are familiar with him should be able to recognize it as his work at a glance.
Mr. Doodle is a graffiti artist from London who was born in the 1990s . He started drawing at the age of 2 and claims to suffer from "Obsessive Compulsive Drawing". He is good at using black and white markers to fill all blank spaces , from furniture, cars, walls to entire buildings, until he is lost in them.

In 2019, Fendi invited Mr. Doodle to participate in the "Doodling FENDI ROMA" art project, creating huge graffiti on the concrete floor of the rooftop of its Rome headquarters, the giant three-dimensional mirrored FF Logo, Fendi, and Roma logos. Below is the final product, the entire rooftop is filled with cartoon graffiti, it seems that his imagination will never run out.
At night when I look at the reflection of the mirrored letters, it feels like I’m painting on the moon because of the night sky and the white concrete floor, and it’s a crazy feeling that I can’t explain.

The bag is made of pure white calfskin , and the silk-printing process is used to present hand-painted graffiti strokes on the bag body.
