LOEWE's current brand logo was launched in 2013. It was designed by M/M (Paris) creative studio at the invitation of creative director Jonathan Anderson. It is based on the Pegasus font designed by German-British calligrapher Berthold Wolpe in 1937 , and integrates the brand's original Bembo font logo for a modern reshaping. The font structure is adjusted and the details are strengthened to make it look more authoritative.

LOEWE was originally a cooperative formed by a group of Madrid craftsmen, and it was not until the German leather craftsman Enrique Loewe Roessberg joined that the brand was officially established. "The word Loewe is actually German, so we decided to trace the origin, use German fonts to rebuild the authority and pay tribute to its Germanic roots."
