The Prada 1913 handbag made its debut at the 2024 Spring/Summer women's fashion show. It was inspired by a classic piece designed by the brand's founder Mario Prada in 1913. The original handbag was made of cloud silk, and the new season was reinterpreted with black soft nappa leather and recycled nylon . The pleating process created a full cloud-like silhouette, reinterpreting the collection archive from a contemporary aesthetic perspective.
In 1913 , brothers Mario & Martino Prada founded Fratelli Prada in Milan.
