Naming inspiration
The Kaia bag made its debut in Saint Laurent's 2020 Spring/Summer collection , with American supermodel Kaia Gerber as the muse of inspiration for the bag. The bag was named "Kaia" and was worn by Kaia herself on the Spring/Summer runway.
The Kaia handbag debuted in a saddle bag shape with caramel brown leather, exuding a free bohemian style. It was subsequently launched in a variety of colors, as well as rare leathers, woven flaps and other versions.

Equipped with a detachable and adjustable leather shoulder strap , it can be worn on one shoulder or across the body with a casual and free temperament. The small bag shape is full of urban modernity when used as a clutch . Kaia's flap is a canvas-leather design with two holes in the leather inner layer, which allows the shoulder strap to be freely inserted into the flap, which is a more discreet way to remove it.
The bronze metal round rivets become adjustment buckles and are engraved with the YSL logo.
