Carré is a bag model launched by Saint Laurent in 2019. The word "Carré" means "Square" in French , which represents the square shape of this bag and also refers to the iconic square buckle on the front of the bag . There is no extra decoration on the whole bag except the square buckle. The neat and tidy Box bag shape is simple and powerful, and the rounded corner design adds a touch of elegance to it without appearing too strong.
The new version of Carré for autumn and winter 2020 is an upgrade on the original bag shape. It is hand-sewn by leather craftsmen, and the structure of the bag is strengthened with stiff glossy calfskin , and paired with soft and delicate Plongé Nappa leather lining , making the bag thinner and more stylish.
· Square clip ·
The bronze square clip on the front is the only decoration on the Carré handbag. The small SAINT LAURENT PARIS logo is engraved on the antique brass. The low-key logo element is in sharp contrast to the previous YSL Monogram series, which is retro and has a hint of fortitude.
Simply press the square buckle below the clip to open the bag lid, which can be easily done with one hand.
· Adjustable shoulder straps·
Another change in the new Carré is the improved shoulder strap design, which uses a 52cm short shoulder strap that is more suitable for single shoulder carrying , and has a 7-hole adjustment range , which is more friendly to petite girls.The top connection ring is a 365° metal knob with no dead angle, which can be freely twisted, so that the strap will not be awkward no matter how it is carried on the body.
The brand logo is delicately engraved on each tiny hardware, highlighting the exquisite workmanship.
What can this bag hold?
The whole bag is sapphire blue from inside to outside . The high-saturation blue exudes a cool aura, which will be particularly outstanding in the winter when dark-colored clothing is the main color. After opening the bag cover, you can see the gold hot stamping logo and the leather label on the inside. The interior adopts the main compartment + back zipper inner pocket + front flat pocket structure. The Nappa leather lining has good flexibility, and the flat bottom of the bag also makes the storage more organized.
