Balenciaga Lunch Box Shoulder Clutch

Lunch Box Series

Balenciaga 's 2020 winter series launches the new Lunch Box shoulder strap clutch . The design of this bag is inspired by the "lunch box" . The minimalist solid square box made of white recycled plastic is decorated with an embossed BALENCIAGA logo , once again demonstrating the unique creative concept.

As the name suggests, the design of Lunch Box is inspired by the "lunch box" , and it is the number one cosplayer among big-name lunch box bags. From the shape to the material, it is presented in its original flavor. If it were not for its exquisite workmanship, we might think that Balenciaga has really entered the home furnishing field. After all, they often do not play by the rules.

The color scheme continues the cool temperament, all pure white from inside to outside . The minimalist appearance is particularly demanding on the material and workmanship, and any flaws will be exposed. The flap is inlaid with an antique silver frame , and the buckle is engraved with the BALENCIAGA logo . It looks like a "lunch box" that likes the Bauhaus style.

Recycled plastics

The outer shell of the "lunch box" is made of recycled plastic , using recycled products such as plastic bottles and plastic bags as raw materials, which is in line with the concept of sustainable and environmentally friendly fashion.

Environmental protection and charity have been one of the themes of Balenciaga in recent years. Since 2018, the brand has cooperated with the World Food Program (WFP) to launch a joint series, and part of the proceeds are donated to fight global famine and malnutrition. Fashion made of recycled fabrics can also be often seen on the catwalk. The just-released 2021 spring and summer series still revolves around the theme of recycling, and the recyclability rate of the series items reaches more than 90%.

BB lock logo

The most eye-catching decoration on the bag is the BALENCIAGA and BB lock logo on the front . The edges of the embossed fonts are very soft and feel delicate and warm.

The Interlocking BB Logo was designed by current creative director Demna Gvasalia and first launched in 2017. It uses hollow overlapping fonts to present two opposing B letters, with a 3D effect, just like nested interlocking locks.

· How do I carry this bag? ·

The bag is equipped with a detachable and adjustable lambskin shoulder strap , which is connected to the metal ring on the frame through a spring buckle. It can be carried as a shoulder bag or a crossbody bag . After the shoulder strap is removed, it can be directly rolled up and put into the box, instantly switching to a handbag .

The metal ring connecting the shoulder strap adopts a flexible design and fits perfectly into the hollow of the metal frame. When not in use, it can be rotated and stored in the bag without any visible connection marks.

What can this bag hold?

The outer shell of the box is sturdy and solid, and the lining is soft lambskin . It has a folding inner pocket and double card slots , which can be used to store thin items such as cards, keys, cash, etc. There are leather corner braces on both sides of the bag which can be extended and closed at an angle of about 60° , making it easy to store and access items in the bag and avoid spilling.

Forget the sad salads and sandwiches. This Lunch Box clutch cannot be used to carry your lunch, but your mobile phone, wallet, keys, perfume, lipstick, and tissues can all be safely stored in it, and your appetite is still very satisfying.
