Balenciaga's spring 22 collection introduces the new Editor handbag , which is reshaped based on the Hourglass bag - continuing the iconic arched base and metal "B" buckle , the lines of the bag have become rounded and full. The biggest highlight is the built-in magnetic frame at the bag opening , and the smooth lines echo the arched bottom of the bag.

Balenciaga's spring 22 collection is themed "Clones ," exploring the uneasy thoughts that technology brings to reality. All 44 looks in the fashion show were performed by American artist Eliza Douglas , who used face-changing technology and CG scanning to digitally graft together the real and the virtual, presenting a surreal style.

The Hourglass bag is a bag launched by the brand in winter 2019. In autumn 2021, the Downtown shoulder bag was derived , showing a naturally loose and soft silhouette; in spring 2022, the new Editor handbag evolved , and the hard frame and soft leather formed a balance of hardness and softness.

The large Editor continues the iconic arched base , inspired by the Basque-Waist waist-hugging fashion designed by the brand's founder Cristóbal Balenciaga; the Editor presents a crisp, soft and full bag shape, like a travel bag.

The highlight is the built-in magnetic strip design at the bag opening , which presents a round and smooth "U" shape and is wrapped in black calfskin. Simply pull the "B" letter ornament to open the bag.

· Calfskin leather and hardware ·

This handbag is made of Paper Calfskin , and you can clearly see the striped texture on the leather, which is like the folds of kraft paper. The black semi-matte texture creates a strong aura.

Hardware is the only decorative element of the handbag. The "B" letter buckle is made of antique silver metal. The whole bag exudes a timeless texture, as if it has been baptized by the years.
