Bag inspiration
The "Moon" handbag was released in the PRADA 2023 Spring/Summer collection . It was designed by co-creative directors Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons and is a replica of the brand's classic Moon Bag launched in the spring and summer of 2002 .

In comparison, the handbag follows the Hobo crescent shape , with PRADA's iconic nautical-style lock ring connecting the arched double handles; the most recognizable feature of the bag is the central belt buckle , and the new model adds the iconic enamel triangle logo on the basis of the original and optimizes and upgrades the craftsmanship. With details such as the leather patchwork corners , the overall look continues the retro feel.

The new work has a leather keychain pendant hanging on one side of the bag as the finishing touch. It adopts a detachable design, and the words "PRADA Re-Edition 2002" are hot-stamped on the leather , indicating that it is a replica bag.
· Belt Buckle·
The Moon bag returns to the maximalist aesthetic of the millennium with rich metal accessories . It is made of silver-finished brass and the surface is finely polished to create a shining and flowing silver light.
The most prominent feature is the central belt buckle design, which becomes the focus of the entire bag - a wide leather strap runs from the back of the bag to the front of the bag, decorated with bold metal eyelets and classic buckle elements, and passes through a slender strap .
The sharp angle cut at the end of the belt complements the iconic triangular enamel logo . The complicated buckle details also make the opening and closing more ceremonial - open the magnetic buckle and gently pull out the buckle to open the bag.

In order to make the Moon handbag more relaxed and fashionable, it is made of soft padded lambskin , creating a fluffy and full visual effect like a home pillow, and the raised lambskin surface also exudes a natural luster.
The designer specially selected bright candy colors as the new outerwear of the Moon handbag. In addition to mango green , there are also colorful colors such as geranium pink, mango yellow, and sky blue , giving the classic bag a youthful and energetic atmosphere. The oil edge of the bag is treated with the same color as the bag body, revealing the ingenious details.

Moon has upright arched double handles , and the highlight is a studded buckle on one side to fix the two handles. The leather shoulder strap is detachable and adjustable , with a length of 100cm . The lining of the bag is still made of mango green lambskin , and the soft leather is especially friendly to the items in the bag.
