Damoflage camouflage checkerboard
The LV 2024 Spring/Summer Men's Collection is the first collection brought by Pharrell Williams, the creative director of men's wear, for the brand. The most eye-catching visual element of the entire show was the newly designed "Damoflage" pattern, which combines the classic Damier checkerboard and pixel-style camouflage design, injecting American street style into the brand's collection elements. Even Pharrell himself took the stage to take his final bow in a Damoflage printed suit.

The Damier checkerboard was designed by Louis Vuitton and Georges Vuitton in 1888 , the same year as the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The first Damier checkerboard used brown and beige squares, with the "Marque L. Vuitton déposée" trademark printed in between to prevent copycats. It was also Louis Vutton's first patented design.
As the name suggests, the word "Damoflage" is a combination of Damier + Camouflage . The new pattern retains the checkerboard base while incorporating camouflage elements with an outdoor military feel. American Atari game artists are invited to perform pixelated design, giving it a visual sense of retro video games.

The lid can be easily opened by simply pressing on both sides. The black buckle shape is like two cute "cat paws", adding cute details to the bag.

The overall tone of the bag is green, beige and gray-black. The black hardware accessories and green leather trims are calm and handsome. The LV logo made of gold round nails is decorated on the detachable leather tag, adding a touch of dandy gentleman style to the bag, which is also the detail that most reflects Pharrell's personal style.
There is a short handle made of nylon and leather on the top , and the detachable and adjustable shoulder strap is made of LOUIS VUITTON logo jacquard nylon.
