The Capushell mini handbag is from the "LV By The Pool" 2024 Summer Capsule Collection. It uses a rhythmic wavy base to reinterpret the classic Capucines handbag, paired with the LV logo inlaid with mother-of-pearl and a mermaid-like iridescence, exuding a dreamy fairy tale atmosphere.

The Capucines handbag was first launched in 2013 in homage to Louis Vuitton's first store on Neuve-des-Capucines in Paris in 1854. The bag features a classic and timeless trapezoidal silhouette with arched handles and a leather inlay on the top with the LV Initials metal logo , combining classic silhouettes with urban aesthetics to embody timeless elegance.

The bag’s seemingly simple design incorporates many of the brand’s iconic elements – the uppercase serif LV logo represents the initials of the brand’s founder, Mr. Louis Vuitton, and the brass rivets on the handle and the connecting ring of the bag body come from the brand’s traditional box-making craftsmanship.

The ingenious petal-shaped small flap is cleverly cut into a Monogram flower shape and embellished with hand-assembled Monogram metal ornaments. The dual-use design can meet different styling needs.

Each handbag is hand-assembled by experienced craftsmen after 250 processes. The body of the bag is made of Taurillon grained cowhide leather , which is soft and scratch-resistant. After multiple tanning, spray painting and drying processes, it presents a pearlescent iridescent effect like a shell.

The lining is made of smooth calfskin with a thickness of 2mm-2.4mm, rendered in a dreamy pink tone that echoes the body of the bag. The LOUIS VUITTON PARIS logo is stamped in gold on the back. Every detail is rigorous and exquisite.

The Capushell handbag is a limited edition style of the LV By The Pool summer capsule series. The biggest design highlight is the wavy base that looks like a shell. It is inspired by the fascinating ocean world, reminiscent of Botticelli's famous painting "The Birth of Venus", and a bit like the little devil in the Pac-Man game.

Craftsmen need to heat the Taurillon leather through a hot pressing process , and then mold and cool it to create a rhythmic wavy shape.

The LV logo and Monogram flower inlaid with mother-of-pearl also echo the "Shell" theme in the bag name, adding jewelry-like smart details to the bag.

In addition to the handle, the bag also comes with an adjustable and detachable leather chain shoulder strap, which can be carried on the shoulder or crossbody.

The bag is a mini size of 22×14×7.5cm , the smallest size in the Capucines series. The small and exquisite shape of the bag and the childlike wavy base complement each other. The interior is a double compartment structure, which can store iPhones, makeup mirrors, short wallets, tissues, lipsticks, perfumes and other items.
