This Petite Malle V handbag is from Louis Vuitton's 2022 Fall/Winter collection. This season's work is themed "Poetry of Adolescence " and was designed by Nicolas Ghesquière , creative director of women's wear , to showcase the free dressing nature of adolescent girls that is not bound by conventions.

The Petite Malle V bag is derived from the Petite Malle small hard case released by the brand in autumn and winter 2014. The original design inspiration came from the photography case launched by the brand in 1929. The classic "Petite Malle" small hard case adopts a tough three-dimensional square box outline , and the bag opens and closes at an angle of about 45 degrees .

The new "Petite Malle V" has a cutout design on the side of the bag . From the side, the bag looks like two vertical panels leaning against each other, presenting an isosceles triangle structure, with the leather in the middle naturally folded into an inverted "V" fold . All suitcases of each guest can be opened and closed with the same key. This system is still in use today.

The opening and closing method is very simple and can be easily operated with one hand. Just push the two round buttons on the lock towards the center, and with a crisp "click" sound, the triangular metal piece will automatically pop open , and you can easily open the box.
