Yayoi Kusama
Yayoi Kusama, 93, is regarded as one of the most successful living female artists of the 21st century . She was born in Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture, Japan in 1929. She went to Tokyo and New York to create art in the 1950s and 1960s and gradually emerged. Polka dots are a signature element throughout Kusama's artistic career and a source of inspiration from childhood to the present. For Kusama, polka dots are a path to infinity and also indicate her state of "self-dissolution".

This is the first time Louis Vuitton has collaborated with Yayoi Kusama again in 10 years since 2012. The new work is themed "Creating Infinity" , transforming Yayoi Kusama's colorful artistic style into classic items such as handbags, ready-to-wear, suitcases, and fragrances, exploring the eternal concept shared by fashion and art.
· Square Cube shape ·

The bag adopts a 16×16×16cm cube configuration. Each side looks like a smart square. The neat geometric shape creates a comfortable look, and the leather piping plays a shaping and reinforcement role. The zipper is set in the center of the top, and the two-way opening and closing design is easy to take and put items.

· Silkscreen polka dots & grained leather·
The polka dots on the bag are created through the silk-screen printing process to create a subtle three-dimensional texture. In order to accurately replicate these dots and reproduce the touch of the artist's brush, each bag is personally supervised by Yayoi Kusama herself , pursuing millimeter-perfect accuracy, carefully paying attention to the details of each brushstroke, and perfectly showing the texture and weight.

Pure white Taurillon grained leather is the best background to set off the colorful dots. The slightly concave and convex Monogram pattern texture is created on the leather through embossing technology , which interprets the brand's iconic symbol in a low-key manner. Another major advantage of grained leather is that it is light in weight and not easy to leave scratches, which can effectively enhance the practical properties of the bag.

What can this bag hold?
The cubic structure with the same length, width and height means greater inclusiveness and can store items of a certain thickness and volume. The metal ring on the side allows the handle of the bag to be rotated at any angle, and the zipper that can be opened almost to the bottom is also very user-friendly for taking and putting items.

The lining of the bag is made of suede-touch microfiber . The bright yellow and colorful polka dots make people feel happy. The back pocket is decorated with a pumpkin-shaped Louis Vuitton × Yayoi Kusama gold-plated logo .

We put an iPhone 14 Pro, a notebook, a pen, a tissue, a card holder, perfume, a makeup mirror, a wallet and other items in the bag, and the internal space is very ample. Since the bag is in a diamond shape with the top corner facing up when it is carried in the hand, it is not recommended to put in too heavy items to avoid deformation of the bag. In addition to the leather handle, the bag is also equipped with a detachable silver metal chain , which can be used as a shoulder strap to achieve one-shoulder carrying, or simply as a decoration to add smart details to the shape.
