CELINE's new Tassels tassel handbag for Fall/Winter 2019 is inspired by the schoolgirl outfits of the 1970s. Tassels are the soul element of this bag and the origin of the name of the Tassels series of handbags. As a representative element of Bohemian style, tassels symbolize a life attitude of pursuing freedom. The origin of tassels and college style can be traced back to the square hats worn at graduation ceremonies . Different colors of tassels represent different degree levels. Bachelor's degree is black, master's degree is dark blue, doctor's degree is red, and the dean's tassel is yellow. At the degree awarding ceremony, turning the tassel from right to left means that the degree has been officially obtained.

The tassels of this bag are cut and rolled from crocodile-embossed calfskin, fixed at the bottom with stitching and black oil edges, and the golden ring engraved with the CELINE PARIS logo is the finishing touch of the entire bag.
