Soft 16 is a new member of the CELINE 16 series . As its name suggests, this handbag is made of soft calfskin . The "softened" bag body and large capacity make it more suitable for daily use. Design inspiration

The 16 Bag is the first handbag designed by Hedi Slimane for CELINE . It is named after the CELINE headquarters at 16 Vivian Street in Paris. It is not only a tribute to the brand's history, but also represents the beginning of a new aesthetic era for CELINE BY HEDI SLIMANE.

The bag's design is inspired by CELINE's early flap handbags from the 1960s , retaining classic design elements that are true to the brand's history - short flap and metal twist lock.

Celine's early flap handbag design

The T-shaped flap is a unique design of CELINE vintage bags. A buckle strap extends from the center of the flap to the back. The smooth symmetrical curve gives people a restrained and low-key feeling, and the filling structure supports the three-dimensional silhouette of the bag cover.

The central metal twist lock is the only hardware on this bag, and the polished and shiny lock is particularly eye-catching on the brown calfskin. The semi-circular lock rotates smoothly and can be opened with one hand.

"Softness" is the biggest feature of Soft 16, which exudes an effortless style. The bag is made of delicate and soft smooth calfskin , and the edges are sewn with inner stitching , which makes the outline of the bag softer and more comfortable to wear.

The sides of the bag have natural inner pleats, without obvious accordion pleat lines, which echo the rounded and smooth outline. There are open stitching and black oil edges around the flap, and every detail reflects the exquisite workmanship.
